Transcending the confines of the traditional Eight Limb yoga doctrine, Qi-Yo aims to broaden consciousness and instill life-improving practices. Conceived by Swami Agung in 1996, Qi-Yo combines pranayama, breath-extension with asana routines, as well as meditation, energy enhancement and cleansing, and visualization and chanting techniques to promote total wellbeing, mental clarity and inner peace. Originally from Bulgaria, for over thirty-five years Yoga and Martial Arts Master Swami Agung has dedicated his life to the exploration of self-realization techniques inherent in different spiritual teachings. Conducting research in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, New Zealand, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland, after his initiation in Bali by the Grand Sandhi Murthi Master, Ngurah Harta, he was given the title Swami Agung, after the sacred holy mountain in Bali, and received the blessing to found Qi-Yo.
